Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Our group seeks candidates who are committed to an interdisciplinary team-based approach to care and who provide high-quality primary care in a compassionate manner, healing body, mind, and spirit. The ideal candidate will commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care while demonstrating and modeling our organizations core values of reverence, a commitment to those who are poor, justice, stewardship, and integrity. The provider will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated. The qualified candidate must be passionate about family health issues and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities. This is a full time position with a traditional clinic work week, M-F; no less than 36 hours of scheduled patient contact time. Call coverage is (phone only) is 1:4. SAMG utilizes EPIC electronic health record (EHR) and EMR in its clinics. Thus, experience with EHR is desirable. Contractual incentives that reward quality of care and patient outcomes. REQUIREMENTS Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA A strong medical background and a desire to provide acute care to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
