Seeking a Nurse Practitioner to be responsible for providing acute, chronic, and preventive medical care in a Primary Care setting and/or occupational health care setting.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide daily oversight of the clinical staff to ensure that the clinic runs in an efficient manner with patient experience as the focus of care.
The ideal candidate will be able to build rapport with patients to optimize patient engagement.

JOB DUTIES
Provide primary care and/or occupational health care to patients of all ages including assessment, diagnosis/treatment of illness/injury, ordering and interpreting medical diagnostic labs and procedures, chronic disease management and wellness care, prescribing of medications, treatments, therapies, medical equipment, procedures, etc.
Evaluate and treat patients in 30 or 60 minutes as scheduled, in person or via remote methods such as virtual visits
Follow up with ordered labs and imaging studies in a timely manner.
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients; educate and advise on medical issues.
Educate patients and families on self-care to ensure positive long-term patient outcomes.
Oversight of onsite CLIA waived lab.
Dispense prepackaged medications onsite.
Document all patient interactions in a timely manner.
Present on various related health topics upon request.
Provide clinical leadership.
Function independently, within the scope of practice delineated in the practice agreement.
Collaborates with supervising MD as required for licensure/practice.
Maintain appropriate licensure and continuing education requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited graduate or doctorate-level nursing program.
AANP license in the state where employment will occur.
Active, unrestricted DEA with prescriptive authority in the state where employment will occur.
Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a family practice and/or urgent care setting preferred.
EHR experience required
Ability to cooperate, collaborate and communicate with all levels of the organization.
