About the role This position is 100% remote The Nurse Practitioner works directly with patients to deliver medication-assisted recovery for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and empowers patients in their recovery journeys in coordination with the Care Team. Our clinicians deliver compassionate and empathetic telephonic, text-based, and video-based (telehealth) patient engagement and monitoring. Success in this role Essential Functions - Patient Facing (80%) Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage ongoing support for individuals suffering from complex substance use disorders (SUDs) and related comorbidities. Incorporate harm reduction practices into patient care. Elicit the patient's goals for their recovery and help them achieve these goals. Educate patients on the Boulder model, SUDs, recovery strategies, and safe use. Coordinate with Medical Directors to develop and oversee treatment plans. Provide patient care coverage during some nonstandard hours. Effectively use technology to maximize the patient experience. Interpret and share lab results with patients to help them meet their goals. Enable care coordination, connecting patients to clinical resources outside Boulder. Essential Functions - Administrative (20%) Participate in Department and Company-wide meetings. Deliver proactive, clear, and constructive feedback to Boulder's Technology and Operations teams. Complete thorough chart notes within 24-hours of patient visit. Regularly monitor relevant channels for updates and patient care collaboration. Understand and follow Boulder's policies and procedures. Requirements for the role Minimum 1+ year of addiction treatment experience 3 or more years of clinical experience as an NP or RN preferred. Degree from an accredited school of nursing and a graduate-level nurse practitioner program. Demonstrated experience managing SUDs in a chronic care model through medication assisted recovery. Proficiency in electronic medical records and video conferencing. Must have the ability to gain approval for multiple state licenses and insurance company contracts. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A dedicated, private workspace with a lockable door and high-speed internet. Expected hours of work 40 hours per week (salaried) Monday-Friday, 10am to 6pm Eastern Time Compensation Pay range: $130,000 - $140,000.
