Dr. MobiCare - Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and motivated Wound Care Nurse to join our team of wound care professionals.
As part of our team, you would complete chart audits of wounds to determine both immediate treatment needs and long-term treatment plans.
Coordinate with supervising physicians regarding case management, and liaise between families and health care administrators.
Before the patient is discharged, you educate patients and families on care practices and methods to promote wellness and healing.
You must be a licensed registered nurse (RN) to be considered for this position; bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.
Job Responsibilities Evaluate and manage all acute, chronic wounds, surgical wounds and dermatologic wounds
Establish plan of care and work within protocols established by medical director
Accurately performs chart examinations on adult patients with acute and chronic wounds
Assess, diagnose and manage chronic conditions for electronically
Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
Provides individualized patient teaching and counseling
Qualifications: BSN degree (strongly preferred)
Current state licensure as a registered nurse (RN)
CPR and basic life support (BLS) certifications
Certification and prior experience in wound care
