Based in Newburgh, NY, we are looking for a candidate who has experience working as a scheduler and/or coordinator for a healthcare environment - but brownie points go to the candidate that also has experience working in home health/infusion therapy! CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages the sourcing and scheduling of nurses for patient visits and for the assigned office(s).Reviewing documentation and completed visits in the system.Create service codes for new patients in the system when scheduling.Review for accuracy of performed services before submitting visit to billing.Maintains medical records with accuracy in an organized manner along with confidentiality.Identifies and sources any missing documentation needed.Follows up with patient post visit to track plan of treatment care.REQUIREMENTS:3 years of relevant experience in lieu of college degree. Associates preferred.2 years' experience working in home health or health care setting in an admin support role such as scheduler, biller, or other relevant title.
