We are seeking aper diem *Nurse Supervisor* to join us at The Bradley Hospital in East Providence, RI. You will serve as the on-site administrator throughout the hospital during your shift, providing continuity of hospital operations and assisting and supporting management and staff to achieve hospital goals and standards.*Responsibilities:*· Provide clinical consultation to nursing and ancillary staff· Empower decision-making and encourage nurses to access their expertise and knowledge to solve problems· Demonstrate the ability to lead staff with culturally diverse needs and abilities· Supervise all levels of staff performance for consistent application of standards· Respond to and participate in patient care emergencies and provide direct care as needed· Respond to and resolve administrative problems in a professional and cordial manner· Collaborate with leadership and provide feedback and documentation related to patient care issues*Qualifications:*· Graduate of a school of nursing with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island· Current SafetyCare and BLS certification and Lead RN training· 3+ years of recent acute psychiatric nursing experience; 2+ years of hospital supervisory experience preferred· Strong interpersonal/negotiation/mediation skills and demonstrated effective leadership*Working at Lifespan*At Lifespan, we utilize a multidisciplinary team approach to medicine and provide the right blend of autonomy and collaboration.
