Responsibilities Position Summary: The Nursing Assistant is defined as a member of the healthcare team who is accountable for patient care supportive services under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Core Duties: · Adjusts work habits to meet age-specific needs of patients/families
Provides care to patients and families based on needs age culture and diagnosis
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living including bathing oral care feeding ambulating turning and toileting
Accurately take and record vital signs
Accurately measure and record intake and output
Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms
Informs RN/LVN of changes in patient condition
Document care given according to policy/procedure standards and guidelines
Performs cleaning functions to maintain unit

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: CNA/Nursing assistant/care giver experience.
High school diploma (or equivalent) required
Must maintain annual required competencies in the department
Requires:
Ability to read speak and write English
Ability to work as a team member to meet department goals and objectives
Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and precision under multiple demands
Ability to work effectively under multiple demands and adjust priorities as circumstances required
Ability to work a flexible schedule and be willing to work additional hours if needed
Ability to demonstrate STARR behaviors and core values for Woodland Healthcare
Current BLS certification required (must be certified through the American Heart Association
Demonstrates ability to position move and transfer patients utilizing patient's mobilization equipment and/or appropriate resources.
Physical able to stand stoop and lift.
Walks and stands at least 50% of the shift.
Good manual dexterity and visual and auditory acuity.
Pay Range $28.28 - $31.77 /hour
