You will be instrumental in providing a clean and safe environment for surgical patients. Nursing Assistants:Provide assistance with to the care of surgical patients within the surgery department. Administer delegated tasks and assignments. Some specialized training on proper sterile technique crucial for the Operating Room when opening sterile supplies and instruments. Assisting with sedated patient positioning required for surgical procedure with guidance from RN.Will collect/transport non-invasive biological specimens from patients as needed. Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy. Clean operating room and surgical suite.
