Job DescriptionJob Description:Are you looking to make a difference in someone's life? Essentia Health is currently recruiting for a Nursing Assistant Position. •You will be responsible for providing direct care to patients and serving the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director (possibly with guidance from an LPN) to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.•Your duties will vary by patient care unit/department•You will provide personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, and providing comfort care and other assistance.•You will appropriately and safely transfer patients, taking vital signs and completing recordkeeping.•You will recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process.•You will work within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and accrediting agencies.Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Must meet one of the following requirements:6 months of nursing assistant experienceCompletion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing programSuccessful completion of an EH provided Nursing Assistant training within one month of hireVerifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registryBLS certified or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire dateSign On Bonus for New Hires: $1,500 *Restrictions may applyBe a part of a Healthcare organization that invests in you and your career.Apply now and help us continue to raise the bar in patient care!
