This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty.

The candidate selected for employment will be required to provide the following: official transcripts and verification of experience prior to the first duty day, identification and employment eligibility as outlined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act, fingerprints and required medical certification pursuant to statute. What We Offer:
Minimum RequirementsA Master's or higher degree, which includes coursework in nursing, education or administration. If degree other than nursing submit information verifying coursework in nursing education.
AND ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: Completion of at least one (1) year's experience teaching courses related to registered nursing or completion of a post-baccalaureate course which includes practice in teaching registered nursing.Direct patient care experience within the previous five (5) years in the nursing area to which he or she is assigned, which can be met by:One (1) year's continuous, full-time or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse in the designated nursing area;Or One (1) academic year of registered nurse level teaching experience in the designated nursing area or its equivalent.Possess or be eligible for and obtain a current California Registered Nursing license.Possess current Health Care Provider Basic Life Support Certification.Commitment to diversity.
