**Description:**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Nursing to lead our Emergency Department team. As Manager Nursing, you will oversee the operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Your responsibilities include meeting financial targets, maintaining productivity standards, and delivering exceptional patient care. Additionally, you will foster employee engagement, promoting a culture that reflects our mission, vision, values, and commitment to safety.
 
**Responsibilities:** Develop unit(s) strategic plan based on organization-wide goals and objectives, including quality-based goals and objectives. - Develop capital and operating budget, ensuring appropriate utilization of resources. - Ensure compliance with strategic plan, address variances, and develop contingency plans. - Coordinate patient care activities based on patient care requirements, assigning clinical operations accordingly. - Establish and enforce standards of patient care and nursing practice, developing and implementing unit-based quality improvement programs. - Evaluate delivery and outcome of patient care to assure compliance with department standards and patient/family satisfaction. - Assume the role of patient advocate to clarify and evaluate ethical and/or legal issues, supporting cultural practices. - Create and maintain a unit work environment that encourages staff retention, development, customer service, and patient/family centered care. - Collaborate with clinical specialists and/or educators to identify, plan, and implement educational programs pertinent to unit service and staff development. - Responsible for hiring, annual evaluation, counseling, and termination of staff in accordance with labor and hospital policy. **Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Experienced Registered Nurse with previous clinical experience in a Tertiary Care facility
- 2 years of Nursing leadership experience
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing, TNCC and CEN certifications
