Job Title: Nutritional IIDepartment: Nutritional ServicesHours/Week: Per diemWeekends Required: As NeededJOB SUMMARY:Prepares, stores and serves a variety of foods for hospital customers and special functions.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares, sets up and serves hot and cold food items needed for customer meal services.
Preforms basic cooking duties.
Cleans and sanitizes work area, equipment, and dishes.
Maintains and sets up work area; restocking all items as needed Perform cash register duties.
Assists with other duties as assigned SKILLS & ABILITIES:Ability to recognize food items which are unsuitable for service.
Ability to safely utilize commercial cooking and preparation equipment.
Understand and apply basic sanitation and storage principles.
Required to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions.
