You will need to be comfortable treating women during evaluation, treatment, and management. You will be providing medical care relating to pregnancy and childbirth as well as diagnosis, treatment, and help prevent diseases of women, especially as they relate to the reproductive system. At times, the OB/GYN Physician also provides general medical care to women. Although you will have scheduled hours to work in the clinic, you will also need to be available for on-call services as required in addition to clinical or operations-related meetings that may take place after-hours.
