Job Summary The Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans, and executes medically prescribed care for all ages with disabilities, disorders, and injuries in order to restore maximal functional level in the home setting. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served by Avera@Home. Education and/or Experience Graduate from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) is preferred. One or more years' experience in hospital Occupational Therapy, long-term care, or outpatient therapy preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration Licensed in the State of South Dakota as an Occupational Therapist required. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota may be required depending on the service area. If required, must obtain within 90 days of being placed in the position or of the requirement. This position requires a valid driver's license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 48hrs/2wks
