Weiser Care of Cascadia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
We are also considering an Occupational Therapist Assistant, depending on experience.

An Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
Also, the OT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of a physician.
In addition, the OT must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate occupational therapy method.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, and eating
- Develop and implement therapeutic activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and balance
- Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on adaptive equipment and techniques to improve their independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports
- Preform Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques
- Experience working with patients with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities
