Occupational Therapist

*Overview*We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with adults with Special Needs of all ages to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and have a strong background in patient care, we encourage you to apply.*Duties, Skills, and Abilities*- Conduct assessments to evaluate individuals' physical, mental, and emotional abilities- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve individuals' motor skills, coordination, and cognitive abilities- Teach individuals and/or staff how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices- Collaborate with management to ensure comprehensive care for patients- Monitor and document individuals' progress throughout the treatment process- Educate staff on strategies for managing daily activities and promoting independence- Ability to lift (with assistance if needed) individuals weighing up to 300 lbs*Experience*To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy- Experience working with special needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) etc.- Valid NJ state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging techniques- Familiarity with occupational health practices- Ability to work effectively in critical care settings, including hospitals, pediatrics, and ICUIf you are a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.
