Key Responsibilities:
Provide
occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Assist patients
with exercises, activities, and interventions to improve daily functioning and enhance independence.
Monitor patient progress , adjusting treatment plans as needed and collaborating with the therapy team.
Educate
patients and families on exercises, techniques, and strategies to support recovery and independence.
Maintain accurate documentation
of patient care, progress, and outcomes in accordance with facility guidelines.
Collaborate
with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to the comprehensive care of patients.
Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensure : Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of California.
Experience : Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred, but not required.
Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy.
