We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Hand and Upper Extremity Fellow (OT) to:

Attend and participate in didactic education designed to advance clinical reasoning and pattern recognition in the hand and upper extremity. Challenge your own clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units, case presentations and scholarly inquiry. Form alliances with patients and their families with the common goal of optimizing function following acute injuries, cumulative and non-traumatic injuries, and surgical procedures related to hand and upper extremity impairments. Expand knowledge and interventional skills in lymphedema. Collaborate on a weekly basis with advanced practitioners and board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic and plastic surgeons. Treat a variety of pre- and post-operative upper extremity conditions while being mentored by staff. Collaborate with other providers in coordinating patient and family care across multiple services. Minimum - Graduate of an accredited, entry-level degree program (Baccalaureate or higher) in Occupational Therapy. Credentialed by the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapists (NBCOT). Must obtain NPI number prior to starting the fellowship program. Work Experience :
Minimum - Six (6) months of experience in rehabilitation of the upper extremity from any setting: acute, chronic, or lymphedema.
Preferred - One (1) year of experience in rehabilitation of the upper extremity from any setting: acute, chronic, or lymphedema. Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum - Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin. Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months of hire. Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
