Job Description:

Baker Hughes is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As an Associate Level Office Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This part-time position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in office management.

Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate, and implement new procedures as needed- Manage office supplies and equipment, including inventory control and ordering- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff- Maintain office budget and expenses, including monitoring invoices and payments- Assist with HR duties such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication and workflow- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and tracking expenses- Provide general administrative support to senior management as needed

Requirements:- 4 years of experience in office management or a related field- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Strong organizational and time-management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software- Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Motivated self-starter with a cooperative attitude- Analytical skills to problem solve and make informed decisions
