Compensation: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time, primarily Mon-Fri, between 7am and 7pm, some weekend and event work might be required.

Position Summary: The On-Site Project Manager (OPM) serves as a service delivery planner and operations coordinator as well as a liaison between the direct client-facing staff and the COO. The OPM position is critical to the effectiveness, timely execution, and overall quality of the services delivered to local communities. This position requires strong organizational skills, time management skills, and extreme attention to detail. The OPM will be required to examine processes on a daily basis, identify shortfalls in service delivery, and act quickly to prevent service disruption. The OPM is also expected to make recommendations on continuous process improvements regarding staffing, operations, and general insights on the quality and effectiveness of services delivered. This position necessitates in-person interactions with other team members and occasionally those served to ensure all goals are being met to standard. The OPM will regularly solve complex problems and act as a "go-to" for answers when operations are not on track. Altogether, the OPM
is expected to be a ground-level extension of the COO and Community Coalition for Health. The OPM will be responsible for the majority of the day-to-day support activities related to outreach, delivery, scheduling, and general customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Directly oversee the program staff at program sites, including providing worker orientation, training, and supervision as neededMonitor programs for compliance with Food Bank, USDA, and Feeding America guidelines including health & safety protocols and civil rights complianceOccasionally provide direct assistance to clients of varying backgroundsEnsure security of sensitive information and confidentiality of all client recordsModel for volunteers a client-centered, compassionate, non-judgmental approach to community careContribute to the overall mission as a public representative of the organizationDeliver honest feedback to teammates, superiors, and subordinates in a supportive manner; demonstrate fair treatment of others and support a positive environment A great candidate will also have the following: A bachelor's degree in Business, Social Work, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experienceTwo (2) or more years of direct operations or management experience Experience collaborating with coworkers on projects/tasks; providing adequate lead-time for others to meet deadlines; possess a willingness to help, no matter how big or small the taskExperience with successful event planning, coordination, and executionExperience working with volunteers and families of varying socio-economic backgrounds Demonstrated success in working with diverse individuals and groups on complex community issuesAvailability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate distribution times and organization needsWorking days are likely to be Monday – Saturday with varying hours total at least 40/weekProven demonstration of good judgment and discretionA valid government-issued Driver's License Additional requirements with or without reasonable accommodation: Bi-lingual English/Spanish strongly preferredExperience with food distribution programs; Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, familiarity, and sensitivity to hunger, poverty, and health issuesAbility to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, repetitively lift and carry up to 50 lbs., perceive depth, operate a motor vehicle, and operate motor equipmentConditions may include working inside, working outside in various weather conditions such as extreme heat, cold or rain, working around machines with moving parts and moving objects, working closely with others, working alone, working protracted or irregular hours, and traveling by car, van, or bus. This position could include working in inclement weather including extreme heat or cold as well as rainy, slippery conditions within safety parameters. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This position will also require some moving and transporting of physical object such as medical equipment and boxes of supplies/food.
