VRCC Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital is a 24 hour emergency and specialty veterinary hospital located in Englewood, Colorado.
We see patients from both a referral basis from general practice veterinarians as well as directly from clients in need of specialty veterinary care for their pet.
We specialize in Cardiology, Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology and Radiation Therapy, as well as orthopedic and soft tissue Surgery.

Position Overview:
The veterinary assistant provides support to the veterinarians and technicians in their daily tasks by cleaning and maintaining equipment, restraining and handling patients for chemotherapy or radiation therapy, as well as assisting in preparing or administering treatments.
They deliver quality care for all patients and provide exceptional service.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
* High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education, and/or experience.
* Able to perform moderately physically demanding work, that requires a lot of lifting (up to 50 pounds), cleaning, and constant motion.
* Ability to work with or around sick animals, potentially hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, gas anesthetics, zoonotic diseases, and unpleasant odors.
* Requires knowledge of hospital procedures, treatment protocols; computer systems; and terminology used in a veterinary hospital.
* At least 1 year of experience in Veterinary Medicine, 2 years experience or certification preferred

Pay Range
$19-$24 USD
