Necco has an opportunity for a career as an Ongoing Licensing Specialist. This position will add value to the company by recruiting, managing ongoing foster homes, and re-certifying and retaining foster homes to achieve permanence for the children in our care.

The candidate selected will be responsible for the following: RecruitmentEnsuring targeted recruitment to meet current demand by utilizing dataCarrying out the annual recruitment planMine existing and prospective parents for referralsEstablish the Necco brand as a leader in foster care by educating the community and related organizations at eventsBuild relationships with foster parents, local businesses, news media, churches, community organizations, and business leaders.Use data to collaborate with staff, foster parents, and community-based influencers to develop and implement ongoing recruitment methodsEnsure the CRM reflects accurate and timely data regarding leads/opportunities and activitiesUtilize CRM to manage follow-up communication with prospective foster parents using phone, email, text, face-to-face, and direct mailEnsure inquiry responses are within 24 hours (excludes weekends)Lead the charge on the recertification process as required by state licensing to include ongoing training, home study process and re-approval to be a foster homeMaintain knowledge of current state regulations relating to foster homesAssess the family for ability to foster throughout the recertification processProvide recommendations for needed training in growth areasAssist team with steps and actions required for foster home allegations, policy rights violations and/or corrective action (CAPs)Participate in the admissions process from youth referral to placementMaintain all aspects of the foster parent record in the databaseEnsure all Foster Parent file requirements remain currentOngoing TrainingManage all aspects of foster parent ongoing and recertification trainingEnsure training of Hobb's principles of Re-Education and Necco cultureAnalyze referral declination and provide trainings specific to addressRetentionUse data to analyze foster home retention rates and develop action plans to address utilization and capacityEnsure a support team to foster homes throughout the process and for the children with higher needsLead the charge on foster parent recognition and celebrationsLead the team with retention activities for foster familiesAssist in referrals and placements to maximize matching and capacityPractice Ruthless PragmatismEngage in peer to peer feedbackKnow and Live the Necco Corporate Culture PrinciplesEmbody the 3 essential virtues of Humble, Hungry and SmartDrive your Individual Performance ScorecardAdhere to and contribute to the Necco meeting structureProvide (on a rotating schedule) on-call advisory and support to foster families, report and document activitiesPosition Qualifications21 Years of AgeBachelor's Degree in a Human Service-related field. (Ohio Only)Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field (Kentucky, Georgia, Indiana)Bachelor's or Master's Degree in social work or a related human service field, or a Board of Regents degree with human service concentration, or a bachelor's degree and have completed department-approved training provided by the child placing agency (West Virginia)A minimum of 2 years' experience in the human services field100/300/100 Auto Insurance Coverage and Valid Driver's licenseExperience with TrainingExcellent Computer Skills along with the ability to learn new skills and/or programsExcellent communication and organizational skillsSuccessful completion of all required criminal background checksTravel/Training WillingnessAt Necco, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable work environment.
