Job Description:
As an Online Chat Support Officer at Alaska Air Group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat platforms. You will assist customers with inquiries, provide information about products and services, resolve complaints and issues, and ensure a positive customer experience. Additionally, you will work closely with other team members to improve processes, update knowledge base articles, and contribute to the overall success of the customer support team.
Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance through online chat platforms- Use critical thinking skills to assess and address customer needs effectively- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner- Collaborate with team members to share best practices, ideas, and solutions- Update knowledge base articles with relevant information and resources- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding customer interactions- Meet or exceed performance metrics and goals set by the company
Requirements:- Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Resilient and passionate attitude towards customer service- Teamwork and leadership skills- Proficiency in using online chat platforms and CRM systems- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities- Availability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
