Online Customer Care Associate

Job Description:

Marathon Petroleum is seeking a part-time Online Customer Care Associate to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in customer service and possess the personality traits of being hardworking and adaptable. This position requires excellent soft skills in time management and analysis to effectively address customer needs.

Responsibilities:1. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints via email, chat, and social media platforms promptly and professionally.2. Provide accurate information about products and services, as well as resolve any issues or concerns raised by customers.3. Document all customer interactions and maintain detailed records of communication.4. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues.5. Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and provide feedback to management for continuous improvement.6. Stay up to date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.7. Assist in developing training materials and resources for other customer care associates.

Requirements:1. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.2. 3+ years of experience in customer service or a related field.3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.4. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
