### Job Description

Costco is looking for a motivated and energetic Online Live Chat Specialist to join our dynamic customer service team in Chicago. In this part-time entry-level role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued members who seek assistance online. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers via live chat, providing them with solutions, answering their inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience that aligns with Costco's values of quality and customer satisfaction.

### Key Responsibilities

- **Customer Interaction:** Monitor and respond to customer inquiries via live chat in a timely and professional manner, ensuring all communication is clear and friendly.

- **Issue Resolution:** Address customer questions regarding product information, order status, returns, membership benefits, and troubleshooting technical issues efficiently and effectively.

- **Documentation:** Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records of issues and resolutions to help improve service quality.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other team members and departments to escalate unresolved issues and form strategies to enhance customer support processes.

- **Feedback Contribution:** Provide insights and feedback to management based on customer interactions to help improve service quality and streamline processes.

- **Continuous Learning:** Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

- **Brand Representation:** Uphold and represent the Costco brand positively in all communications, acting as an ambassador for customer service excellence.

#### Basic Qualifications

- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and online communication tools.
