**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Online Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will assist in executing digital marketing strategies designed to enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads. This part-time role requires a strong background in online marketing, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Content Creation and Management:**
- Generate compelling content for various digital channels, including social media, email marketing, and the company website.
- Assist in developing and managing an editorial calendar to ensure timely content releases.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing marketing materials.
2. **Social Media Management:**
- Monitor and engage with audiences across various social media platforms, responding to comments and inquiries.
- Analyze social media metrics and generate regular reports to evaluate campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
3. **Digital Marketing Campaigns:**
- Support the planning and execution of online marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and affiliate marketing.
- Utilize marketing automation tools to segment audiences and personalize communication strategies effectively.
4. **Research and Analytics:**
- Conduct market research to identify trends and insights, aiding in the development of strategies to target key demographics.
- Track and report on performance metrics related to campaigns, providing actionable insights to the marketing team.
5. **Website Management:**
- Assist in updating website content and ensuring it reflects current promotions and company branding.
- Use Google Analytics and other tools to assess website performance and enhance user experience.
6. **Team Collaboration:**
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and other team members to brainstorm ideas and develop innovative marketing approaches.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including maintaining marketing budgets and coordinating events.
**Requirements:**
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in online marketing or a related field.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (i.e., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing software).
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
