Payment Conditions: $57.50 USD/hour Role Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for monitoring study participants' vital signs and ensuring their safety during research sessions. The RN will perform health assessments, monitor vitals, and communicate with the data collection team to manage participant safety.
Role Responsibilities Monitor and record participants' vital signs during study sessions.
Review Physical Activity Readiness forms and conduct initial health assessments.
Communicate with the data collection team regarding participants' health status.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
Required Skills Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and using medical equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and quick decision-making skills in emergencies.
Knowledge of medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
Required Experience and Qualifications Valid RN license in the state of California
At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or research setting.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
Experience in cardiac care or exercise physiology is a plus.
