Job Title: Training Program Development Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic-minded Training Program Development Manager to lead our technical training initiatives.
This role is pivotal in establishing training capabilities, content, and processes, while managing the rapid delivery of new and updated training classes and materials that meet our technical needs and reflect the organization's mission and vision.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and effective training delivery methods.
Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year, commensurate with skills, experience, and location.
Incentives: Eligible for a Short Term Incentive (STI) Bonus plan: 15% of base salary.
Travel Expectations: Up to 50%, primarily to Ridgefield, WA.

Collaborate with business leads to ensure training programs align with critical business priorities.
Design engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia resources.
Drive measurable improvements in technical competencies through training, mentorship, and apprenticeship programs.
Deliver training sessions in various formats, including instructor-led classes, webinars, and e-learning modules.
Act as an ombudsman to identify key community partners for developing a talent pipeline.
Establish standards for internships, scholarships, or company-sponsored programs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback and performance metrics.
Maintain training records to track employee progress and compliance with training requirements.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
Manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants as needed.
Provide coaching and support to trainers and subject matter experts involved in training delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information effectively.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience/Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in a training or learning and development role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
Experience with project management and budgeting for training initiatives is a plus.
Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) preferred, but not required.
