Job Description - Open Rank Professor- Vascular Surgeon (23000001XI) The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery is accepting applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor, Vascular Surgeon (Academic) (2 Positions Available). Our practice includes an accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship and Residency Programs.
Primary Responsibilities: Provide care for vascular patients across the entire spectrum of vascular conditions, including complex open and endovascular surgery and management of penetrating and blunt vascular trauma.Supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.Engage in research activities, with support available based on candidate experience and area of investigation.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Board-eligible/Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and eligible for academic appointments at the University of Tennessee.Commitment to providing quality clinical care, student/resident teaching, and research.Additional Board eligibility and/or certification in Minimally Invasive Surgery is desirable.Applicants should have demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.
