Job Summary We are seeking an experienced OpenText Records Management Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in records management and a strong understanding of OpenText products such as Content Server, Documentum, and eDocs RM. The consultant will be responsible for providing expert guidance on records management solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing records management processes for our clients.
Responsibilities Provide expert advice on OpenText Records Management solutions and their integration into clients' existing systems.Lead the implementation and configuration of OpenText Content Server, Documentum, and eDocs RM systems.Assess clients' records management needs and develop tailored solutions to address their requirements.Manage records management projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.Collaborate with clients to define project scope, deliverables, and milestones.Configure OpenText products to meet client-specific records management needs.Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues related to OpenText Records Management systems.Ensure that records management practices comply with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies.Assist clients in developing and implementing records management policies and procedures.Provide training and support to clients on the use of OpenText records management solutions.Develop and deliver user documentation and training materials.Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in records management and OpenText solutions.Propose enhancements to records management processes and systems based on industry developments and client feedback.Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in records management, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing OpenText products.Proven experience with OpenText Content Server, Documentum, and eDocs RM.Strong knowledge of records management principles, practices, and technologies.Proficiency in configuring and managing OpenText records management systems.Familiarity with databases, content management systems, and enterprise information management.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including scope, schedule, and budget.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to effectively interact with clients, understand their needs, and provide clear recommendations.Desired Skills Relevant certifications in records management or OpenText products (e.g., OpenText Certified Professional).Experience with other records management systems or products in addition to OpenText.Knowledge of related areas such as compliance, data protection, and information governance.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Security Clearance US citizenship and the ability to obtain a clearance required.
