Role Overview:
The OT Security Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing security
measures for the company's OT environments.
This role includes developing network segmentation
strategies, configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls, and ensuring the security of industrial
control systems (ICS), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other OT infrastructure.
The
engineer will also support the Head of OT Cybersecurity in enhancing security maturity using the
NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
Key Responsibilities:
•Design and implement OT network segmentation strategies to enhance security.
•Configure and manage Fortinet and/or Palo Alto firewalls, including setting up rules and
policies.
•Develop and maintain OT security controls based on NIST CSF guidelines.
•Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure integration of OT systems.
•Conduct regular security assessments and assist in vulnerability management.
•Monitor OT environments for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
•Respond to OT cybersecurity incidents and coordinate with incident response teams.
•Assist in improving the OT security maturity level in alignment with the NIST CSF.
Requirements:
•Experience in OT/ICS/PLC cybersecurity designs.
•Proven expertise in OT network segmentation and Fortinet firewall configurations.
•Familiarity with NIST CSF and other relevant security frameworks.
•Strong knowledge of OT security technologies and incident response processes.
•Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
•Understanding of vulnerability management and remediation.
•Problem-solving and analytical skills in OT security environments
