Operations Accountant

Operations Accountant must have a strong inventory management background and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all aspects of inventory management to include proficient knowledge in all inventory entry, recipe writing and POS software/programs, conducting inventory process training, and ensuring that all Pelican facilities have the inventory management support needed to eliminate inventory roadblocks that would otherwise negatively impact success in delivering exceptional service to the guest. Assists in establishing clear processes, standards, and protocols. The position must work closely with Accounting, Accounts Payable, IT, Restaurant General Managers, Director of Restaurant Operations, the R&D Chef, Brewing personnel and Merchandise Manager and reports directly to the Controller. Proficiency in IT database management and Accounting Information Systems is highly desirable Work Environment/Physical Demands: The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the key accountabilities of the position. The work may be conducted in an office environment; or may require work in a warehouse/production/restaurant/lodging environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience: Specialized Education/Certificate
Associate's degree
Business acumen awareness
1 to 3 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both

Compensation details: 25-29 Hourly Wage
