Aon is looking for an Operations Specialist/Manager on the M&A and Transaction Solutions You will report to the Head of TAS/TS North America and COO, Global. Work Style: Hybrid – in office 3-4 days a week.
Location: New York, St. Louis or Chicago
What the day will look like Manage the interface between the Business Unit (BU), Operations and Aon Business Services (ABS). Provide support and contribute to achievement of meaningful targets.Support to drive operational effectiveness within the BU through the creation and delivery of short and long-term operational strategies.Provide support and input to BU leaders on material operational issues arising.Prepare documents needed for internal review meetings.Assist with all operational metrics and work with Operational and BU leadership to deliver against identified KPIs.Projects on an as need basis.Create and manage decks for regional meetings.Update and track the limitation of liability workbooks.How this opportunity is different You can play a key role in supporting business growth and aligning operational initiatives with regional and global objectives, making a direct impact on the company's success.
Skills and experience that will lead to success Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Familiar with Insurance Operations, Mergers & Acquisitions and/or Private Equity M&A a plus.Knowledge of Data Analytics, Diagnostic Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Data Cleaning, Data Modeling, and Dashboard useful to support the team.Adaptable to multiple systems (i.e., Salesforce.com and Aon as well as AMATS specific systems).Enthusiastic teammate with good relationship and empathy building skills who is capable of selling reasons for change /plans to a diverse range of relationships.Communication – written and oral.1 to 3 years working in a business environment.Education: Degree or equivalent experience supporting insurance operations.

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $75,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
