Operations Analyst, Senior

As part of the Infor Global Professional Services (GPS) Operations team, this position will be responsible for the sales order to invoice life cycle for a services contract and other administrative and reporting tasks to assist the Team Lead in supporting the business.
This position requires a strong communicator who can be a facilitator for resolving issues or challenges both within the team and between the team and other departments, coordinator of workflow and problem solver. It also requires advanced reporting skills using Excel, Domo and other reporting tools.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Responsible for bookings reconciliation at month end for opportunities closed in CRM.Review contracts and bid packs for the project set up in Infor's internal project management tools.Liaise with project managers and finance team to ensure project set up/task structure is set up accurately in terms of role assignment, rate matrix, budget hours, etc.Ensure all consulting time and expenses is submitted in a timely fashion.Manage sub-contractors (contracts, purchase order creation, time & expense entry, invoices check, record invoices, support Finance on third party cost accruals).Billing preparation in line with contract milestone, review & approval of draft invoices with the consulting Project Managers.Review and monitor the projects WAR/over-run, backlog and project margin.Maintain data accuracy in Infor systems particularly related to Projects and Financial records.Weekly excel reporting & review of consulting work in progress (ETC/EAC with Project Managers and Practice Leads).Provide support to the Consulting teams on systems and processes.Provide ad-hoc, as well as regular management and executive review reporting and analysis to the business.What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or similar in business administration.Ideally 8 years of experience in a similar administrative function – FP&A, business operations, reporting tasks.Good written and oral English communication skills.Able to demonstrate experience of working in a team environment.Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).Reasonable level of analytical skills.High comfort level with navigating ERP systems (Financial Systems, CRM Systems). Flexibility and willingness to undertake a range of administrative functions competently, interacting with other team members.Reasonable level of numeracy.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CRM system (Infor CRM, Salesforce.com or similar tool).At least 2 years' experience with Clarity/ PSA Partner tool or a similar Project Management tool.Candidate will ideally have knowledge of accounting and revenue recognition practices in a services organization.About Infor Infor is a global leader in business cloud software products for companies in industry specific markets.
