The Team
The operations team is essential in the day to day operations at Outpost.
As an Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the operations team in a variety of tasks that are essential to the smooth functioning of our rapidly growing company.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn the ins and outs of building a startup from the ground up, making it ideal for a generalist with a passion for operations and project management.
As a key player in our operations team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in multiple facets of the company.
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in operations, administration, or a related role Work on-site in Santa Monica Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsibilities: Assist the VP and Director of Operations with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and documentation Support the operations team in project management activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope, which includes tracking outstanding responses, following up with external parties, and updated workstream databases among others.
Track and highlight compliance and regulatory calendar to ensure the company meets all regulatory requirements and files relevant responses and/or documents in a timely manner Help organize and maintain operational systems, including directories, inventory management, logistics, and vendor relations Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with the finance team to track invoices, expense approvals, purchase orders, and procurement, as applicable Provide general support to the operations team as needed, taking on a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the startup Additional Skills or Expertise Experience in a startup environment is a plus, but not required Experience in aerospace is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits: 85,000k - 100,000k Incentive Equity Annual Performance-Based Bonus Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance Life Insurance PTO 401k with Company match Subsidized daily catered lunch, snacks and coffee
