Duration: 12 months from start date
Hours: 1 person per shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
1st- 7am to 3:30pm
2nd- 3pm to 11:30pm

Dress code: Long sleeves t-shirt (no buttons), long pants, safety-toed shoes No jewelry Makeup CAN be work however false eyelashes, acrylic fingernails or nail polish may not be worn in the factory area Overview: The primary responsibilities of the Operations Intern include ensuring safety and environmental compliance, adhering to quality procedures, data collection, problem-solving, and continuous improvement as part of a work team. The role involves considerable interaction with other production units and support functions. Responsibilities: Ensure full compliance with safety and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements. Be accountable for all Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and cleaning standards and guidelines. Become familiar with procedures for all equipment within the work area, including normal operations, quality inspections, safety procedures and safeguards, and lock out tag out (LOTO). Utilize SAP and other systems to help improve operations and properly document production. Stay informed of the team's production performance via visual, written, and verbal communications. Participate in regular reviews of team production performance and events. Seek and apply Continuous Improvement tools and techniques to achieve team goals. Required Qualifications: Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with a focus on Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher Authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship needs. Ability to work part-time hours as needed, accommodating academic schedules. Proficiency with computers, software, and data processing. Demonstrate positivity, integrity, and a willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DOMO (Data Management). GMP and/or consumer goods manufacturing experience. Previous experience (1 year or more) in manufacturing. Demonstrated competency in problem-solving, decision-making, effective communication, and results-oriented tasks. TB_PH
