Underpinning this growth is a talented and hardworking Finance & Administration department that oversees all aspects of running the business. These duties include accounting, human resources, information technology, and operations. We are hiring for an energetic, detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support this team.

This new team member will have the following focus areas:
· Support the Finance and Administration Department as we work to operate Fathom5 more efficiently
· Coordinate with internal teams to identify areas to streamline business operations through information sharing, process improvement, and policy development
· IT Coordination
Our new Operations Coordinator will report to the Fathom5 Director of Finance & Administration, who has 30 years' experience as a Certified Public Accountant and leadership across multiple business sectors. We are a learning organization, focused on the development of our teammates. Therefore, our Director of Finance & Administration builds a tailored professional growth plan for each member of her team, and new challenges will present frequent opportunities for our Operations Coordinator to learn additional skills and take on greater responsibilities.
\n The Fathom5 Operations Coordinator will support the following broad responsibilities on the Finance & Administration team:Coordinate with stakeholders including program managers, IT, and finance to draft policies related to business operations, purchasing, and knowledge management to create simple, scalable, and repeatable processes that make the business more efficientIdentify bottlenecks and blockers in project operations and coordinate with project managers to create solutions and processes to reduce inefficiency across the organizationCoordinate with external vendors to procure data and reports to help project managers make more informed decisionsCollaborate with all departments to create dashboards and reports to support decision making throughout Fathoms. Skills in retrieving data, examining it for trends, and presenting it to others will create a road to success in this areaWork with managers and team leads to investigate and/or supply cost, work hour, and other data used in our billable and R&D projects The Fathom5 Operations Coordinator will coordinate the company's IT activities.Work with a small team to implement effective information systems and interact with users to determine whether their needs are being metCreate and publish the policies and procedures we use to manage our IT assets and other Information Systems in line with industry and best practices, including the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Controls, and other legal and regulatory compliance required of Department of Defense (DoD) contractorsEnsure that our Cloud Engineers are properly managing their configuration and Infrastructure-as-Code(IaC) in accordance with our change management policiesGather and use data to help plan a technology refresh program for the company The Fathoms Operations Coordinator will lead small internal teams to deliver internal software tools.Learn and eventually help coach Fathom5's unique approach to requirements driven agile project managementsManage the battle rhythm for key internal products teams, including our new cloud-based development environment CUTIEOwn the planning backlog for these projects and function in a role similar to a SCRUM Master in clearing hurdles to team execution The Fathom5 Operations Coordinator position requires:Clear and effective communication – Written and oral communication skills sufficient to accurately convey detailed information to both internal and external audiences.Quick learning and problem-solving – The ability and desire to learn new skills and then swiftly enact effective processes and solutions.Empathy – This is a people-focused role, and the ability to empathize and understand the needs and desires of current and prospective team members is essential.Initiative – The desire to lead by example through hard work, dedication to completing a task, and the self-reliance to figure out how a new requirement might be addressed.Team-first mentality – The ability and desire to work in a team environment.Startup Stamina – Fathom5 is changing the world at the intersection of industrial systems and advanced software. Qualifications:BS/BA from an accredited university.1-3 years of business analysis, project management, and/or IT experience. Work history should demonstrate experience in planning, organizing, and completing assignments, being a self-starter, collaborating to prioritize projects, and being a hard worker.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills will be demonstrated in the job screening process through writing samples, Excel proficiency examples, and oral interviews.
