Position Summary
Provide structured On-The-Job training to new hires and cross-training to current employees. Train the knowledge and skills necessary for an employee to learn to effectively perform their job. Ensure compliance to safety, quality and operations processes.
Duties
Train documented policies, procedures, processes and work instructions.
Follow detailed checklists to ensure consistency in training.
Monitor trainee's progress and determine whether the trainee understands presented material and has met training objectives.
Provide feedback using effective feedback methods.
Coordinate with Lead and Supervisor to help determine equipment scheduling during training time.
Enlist the help of the Training Supervisor if extra help for a trainee is needed.
Understands and models' policies and expectations of employees at all times.
Education Degree
High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience 5 years manufacturing experience.
Thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, processes and work instructions.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Organized and able to prioritize and manage time effectively.
Strong knowledge of documentation requirements, including SAP, Propel, Excel, Microsoft word and paper forms.
