Your Role As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for a department(s), including the management of Supervisors within the Fulfillment Center. In this role, you will report to a Sr. Operations Manager.
This opening is for the Night Shift which is Tuesday thru Friday 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Additional coverage may be required during peak season pending volume/business needs.
What You'll Do Responsible for all aspects of employee supervision, not limited to—interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.Responsible for coaching and development of supervisors.Responsible for operational metrics and KPI's.Supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and managers.Leading and developing a team Supervisors and hourly associates.Acting as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed.Mentoring, training, and developing Supervisors and associates.Creating, communicating, and maintaining quality control policies and SOPs to Supervisors and associates.Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives.Building and delivering productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Operations Managers to balance labor.Evaluating performance objectives and metrics to determine department productivity requirements to achieve LOS, accuracy, and quality expectations.Partnering with other managers to share best practices across shifts and the network.What You Bring 4 or more years related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous management experience in a distribution/fulfillment center.Physical Demands Upon request, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with qualified disabilities to perform the essential functions.
