Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, evaluate, and ensure compliance with operating procedures.
Analyzing and implementing effective solutions to business challenges.
Review monthly Profit and Loss statements with each Terminal Manager.
Monitor and review dispatch procedures for planning and efficiency.
Monitor and review tractor and trailer monthly revenue reports.
Monitor and review log hours for drivers.
Implement strategies to maximize efficiency of equipment and drivers.
Monitor terminal operating costs per hour.
Participate in all terminal staffing decisions.
Review and evaluate the performance of terminal and staff.
Ensure completion of training of all terminal personnel on operating procedures.
Participate in customer meetings.
Recommendations for equipment specifications and purchasing.
Review equipment files including inspections and maintenance schedules.
Recommendations for allocation and assignment of company assets, tractors, and trailers.
Participate in seminars and conferences to advance the development of company goals.
Assist in purchase, negotiation, inventory, and oversight of scrap tire program.
Oversight and coordination of company program for CDL tuition reimbursements.
Plan, implement, and evaluate operating procedures for new customer requirements.
