Rockwell Collins is seeking an experienced and dedicated **Operations Manager** to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This part-time role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Operational Oversight:**
- Manage day-to-day operations ensuring efficient workflows and optimum productivity.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

2. **Data Analysis:**
- Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and set measurable business goals.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management.
- Analyze trends and metrics, providing insights to guide strategic initiatives.

3. **Budget Management:**
- Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to identify potential operational efficiencies.

4. **Team Leadership:**
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of operational staff.
- Foster a collaborative team environment to encourage high performance and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and growth opportunities.

5. **Negotiation and Vendor Management:**
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and monitor vendor performance.

6. **Project Management:**
- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Coordinate with different departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

7. **Compliance and Risk Management:**
- Ensure that all operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential risks within operational processes and collaborate with management to implement mitigation strategies.

8. **Continuous Improvement:**
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and benchmarks to maintain competitive advantage.

**Requirements:**

- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management or a related field, preferably in aerospace or a technical sector.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau), project management software, and ERP systems.
- **Personality Traits:**
- Reliable with consistent attendance and accountability.
- Hardworking attitude, with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- **Soft Skills:**
- Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
