You will help lead the company through fundamental foundational improvements to provide a better workplace for its team members and an improved range and depth of services for its customers.
With a heavy focus on safety, skilled trade training, process improvement, and lean initiatives, you will lead a team of approximately 10 people while optimizing and implementing operational processes, creating efficiencies, and implementing controls to drive smart output and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the Manufacturing and Distribution teams.Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's growth goals.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.Create and maintain processes and controls for seamless production and distribution workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and sales, to ensure customer expectations are met.Oversee budget management and resource allocation to optimize costs while maintaining high standards.Foster a positive team environment aligned with the company's values to promote collaboration and innovation.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Mid-career professional with 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the automotive or related industryProven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teamsA tactful change agent who can drive and motivate teams to adopt new ways of thinking and workingStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, distribution operations, and a basic understanding of e-commerceAbility to analyze complex operational challenges and develop effective solutionsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with ERP systems and familiarity with lean manufacturing principlesCommitment to upholding the company's core values Benefits:
