Operations Manager

Job Description:

XPO Logistics is seeking a part-time Operations Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C. This position is ideal for someone with 8 years of experience in operations management and who is looking to take the next step in their career. As a mid-to-senior level Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our facility, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize processes and increase productivity.
- Oversee daily operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and quality control.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage a team of supervisors and front-line employees, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in operations management.
- Hardworking and resourceful individual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Strong teamwork and cooperation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
