Trusted products that accelerate drug discovery, development, and delivery to save lives Damage-resistant cover glass to enhance the devices that keep us connected Optical fiber, wireless technologies, and connectivity solutions to carry information and ideas at the speed of light Precision glass for advanced displays to deliver richer experiences Auto glass and ceramics to drive cleaner, safer, and smarter transportation Day to Day Responsibilities: Support 20-week tactical and 18-month capacity plans by developing analysis for special melt requests and collecting assumptions for supply scenarios. Complete per standard schedule Complete ad-hoc customer supply and capacity plans as needed to support customer forecasts, incorporate internal/external projects and/or evaluate impact of development line time requests. Support the introduction of new customer products into established planning tool, including development of planning process flow and any tool enhancements required. Annually develop current year's supply gap analysis tool Lead Planning interface on customer sample requests. Model, plan and track operational execution of key customer sample and development deliverables Lead Gorilla Glass inventory management, including establishing and maintaining operating inventory targets. Improve on-going inventory visibility and tracking. Publish monthly updates Highlight at-risk inventory, trends and develop improvement portfolio working with Commercial Planning project lead on Business inventory projects and committees Ensure data integrity of inventory dashboard Develop expertise and ability to execute supply and capacity plans in Division's planning tool, Arkieva, including both tactical melt planning and long-range capacity planning Serve as back-up as required long-range planning team Develop and drive execution of Arkieva enhancement portfolio, including long-range planner (LRP) module Participate in manufacturing assumptions (MA) collection forums from Melting Plants, Engineering & Ceramic team; Understand and develop knowledge of key assumptions documents and tables to assist in tactical and supply planning Support Gorilla and planning process improvement projects as required Complete data analysis projects as required. Required Education & Experience Bachelor of Science: Business, Technical or Supply Chain 4+ years Supply Chain, Production Planning, Procurement and/or Logistics experience (preferred) Experience working at MNC or global consumer electronics company is greatly preferred Global work experience or working across regions and cultures is preferred Desired Skills: Leadership Independent: Ability to work without direct supervision and set own work direction Analytical, strategic, and tactical planning Problem solving and decision making Production/Capacity Planning Teamwork and collaboration; cross-function and cross-region Process development and management Detail-oriented and ability to handle ambiguity Ability to communicate effectively; clear, concise communications – written and verbal Cross-cultural awareness and understanding Information Technology savvy (MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, ….) The range for this position is $78,558.00 - $108,017.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
