At LCRA, we are seeking to find a driven Senior Project Manager! This position would operate within PMO leading Water, Generation, Parks, and Facilities projects. We strive to enhance and build LCRA facilities leading to improving the lives of Texans! This position will be in the Operations PMO location based at LCRA's General Office Complex with physical projects located throughout LCRA's service area. This is a chance to lead a portfolio of projects that include high risk pivotal initiatives where your project management experience makes a quantifiable impact on LCRA's operations. Our ideal candidate would demonstrate effective teamwork which fosters collaboration, improves problem-solving, ultimately contributing to the overall success and growth of LCRA!
You will be trusted to:
- Develop project schedules that address the project charter requirements while aligning with department schedule metrics.
- Perform ongoing risk analysis to identify risks as projects are developed, chartered, and executed.
- Effective leadership of the project team in a collaborative, effective manner. This may include executive level interactions.
- Accurately manage chartered project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope with strict adherence to the project change request process for changes to the chartered scope of the project.
You qualify with:
- Nine or more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management, including two or more years managing projects (including managing scope, schedule and budget) or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
