Operations Specialist

The Deposit Operations Specialist works within a team environment and provides direct support to bank operations through transaction maintenance and balancing in an effort to provide excellent service to the organization and the customer while meeting all regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Bank transactions and account maintenance Cash letter creation and file downloads Proof work Account balancing Data Entry Mail Collection Lockbox Electronic banking and Mobile Deposit entry/review This list is not a comprehensive list of the position and is subject to change DESIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: General understanding of banking transactions. High school degree or GED required Experience with Microsoft Office 10-key machine and typing skills Basic analytical and mathematical skills Strong attention to detail NECESSARY SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must be attentive to detail Capable of managing multiple responsibilities and strict deadlines Use critical thinking skill to identify and resolve problems independently Utilize time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations Provide outstanding internal and external customer service Maintain a positive attitude BENEFITS: BSB offers a competitive starting wage, with pay starting commensurate with previous experience and salary history.
