We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our established, comprehensive ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality care in both medical and surgical ophthalmology.
Responsibilities: • Perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose visual problems or ocular diseases.
• Perform surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and retinal procedures.
• Provide treatment plans, including prescribing eyeglasses, medications, or recommending surgeries.
• Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
• Build and maintain relationships with patients, ensuring high standards of care and patient satisfaction.
• Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology to provide the latest treatment options.
• Participate in community outreach and patient education to promote eye health.
Qualifications: • Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Completion of an ophthalmology residency program.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible a plus.
• Licensed or eligible to obtain a medical license in Kansas.
• Strong diagnostic, treatment, and surgical skills.
• Fellowship training in a subspecialty (e.g., retina, glaucoma, cornea) is a plus but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
