MedStar Health is seeking a full-time board-eligible or board-certified comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join their established team at MedStar Health Ophthalmology at Charlotte Hall, just south of Washington, D.C.
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Ophthalmologist with a focus on comprehensive ophthalmology to join our practice. The clinical practice would consist of the outpatient clinic in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, and outpatient surgery time. This opportunity would allow the physician to join a large, integrated healthcare system while being able to easily establish and maintain a positive work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert care in comprehensive ophthalmology, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of conditions in an office with state-of-the-art equipment. Work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Engage in patient education and build lasting relationships within the community. Contribute to the growth and development of the practice through collaboration and innovation. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records. Qualifications: Medical degree with board certification/eligibility in ophthalmology. Demonstrated clinical skills and a passion for patient care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
