Responsibilities
• Embrace and execute Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients• Determine patient wants and needs and exceed expectations• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinating with prescriptions• Operate lensometers and collect measurements accurately• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames• Dispense and repair patient orders• Assist with general office duties and cleaning• Acknowledge patients in a friendly manner• Maintain frame standards• Follow protocols to keep frame inventory accurate
Requirements
• Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience• Minimum of 1 year in a customer interactive position• Basic computer skills• Communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret insurance forms• Favorable result on Background Check• Must have own vehicle and be insured, licensed driver• Must be at least 18 years of age• Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: ABOC certification (preferred)• Ability to read and interpret documents• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence• Ability to speak effectively before groups• HIPPA compliance• Physical requirements: bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, stretching• Ability to move throughout the office• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves• Work changing schedules to meet business demands
