Job Title: Order Fulfillment Manager
Reports to: Director of Warehouse Operations
Starting salary range: $55k to $65k per year
**Job Summary:**
The Order Fulfillment Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate order processing, inventory management, and on-time delivery of products to customers. This position involves overseeing the entire order fulfillment process, optimizing workflow, and collaborating with various departments to meet customer expectations.
**Key
Responsibilities:**
1. **Order Processing:** Receive, review, and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
2. **Inventory Management:** Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
3. **Team Leadership:** Manage and lead a team of order fulfillment staff, including coordinators, pickers, packers, and shipping personnel.
4. **Workflow Optimization:** Continuously evaluate and improve order fulfillment processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
5. **Quality Control:** Ensure that orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and that products meet quality standards.
6. **Communication:** Collaborate with sales, customer service, and production teams to resolve order-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
7. **Performance Metrics:** Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
8. **Compliance:** Ensure that all order fulfillment activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or inventory management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using order management software and inventory tracking systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles is a plus.
**Working Conditions:**
The Order Fulfillment Manager typically works in an office or warehouse environment. They may also need to lift and move moderately heavy objects and spend time on their feet.
